Richard L McNeal has joined Vanair in the newly created position of production planner. He has more than 30 years of experience working with such companies as Pentair Filtration, Sullair, Bosch Rexroth, Solvoy Automotive, Whirlpool, and Cooper Industries. Vanair has promoted Gregg Haymann to supervisor for factory installation. With the company for more than 24 years as a factory installer, he succeeds Cary Miller as supervisor for factory installation. Miller voluntarily relinquished the role to rejoin the ranks as a factory installer. Elizabeth Sanchez has joined Vanair as its new marketing coordinator. She brings experience working on marketing projects for a group of industries.

US Liner Company has named Dr Tom Chu as its new vice-president of research and development. He has more than 20 years of experience in business and industrial R&D management with polymer and manufacturing companies.

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has appointed Carlos Hungria chief operating officer and a member of the Bendix executive board. He joins Bendix after a 30-year career as a part of the Volvo organization. Most recently, he served as chief operating officer at Volvo Powertrain.

Fras-le has appointed Rodrigo Meirelles vice-president and general manager for its North American and European operations. Based in Michigan, he will divide his time between Fras-le's operations in the United States, Germany, and Brazil. Meirelles last served as commercial director of commercial vehicles for Eaton Corporation in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

TMD Friction announced that chief executive officer and board member Derek Whitworth has decided to pursue new opportunities outside the automotive supply industry and will be leaving the group. The board asked John Hudson, executive director and chief financial officer, to succeed Whitworth as CEO. Mal Hartland will succeed Hudson as CFO. Hartland has been with TMD since 2001 and has held senior roles within the Finance Department.
