ArvinMeritor Inc's board of directors has named Charles G “Chip” McClure chairman, chief executive officer, and president, effective Aug 9, 2004. McClure, who had been president, CEO, and a member of the board of directors of Federal-Mogul Corp, succeeds Larry Yost, who is retiring from ArvinMeritor.
The Holland Group has appointed Richard W Muzzy Jr chairman of the board of directors. Formerly president and chief executive officer of the Holland Group, Muzzy remains CEO. Samuel A Martin, formerly executive vice-president, has become president and chief administrative officer of the Holland Group. He previously served as executive vice-president. The group has promoted Doug Dorn to truck OEM account manager. He most recently was the fifthwheel PMT product marketing manager.
Maxon Lift Corp has added Stephen L Hall as district sales manager responsible for expanding the Mobility product line in the southern region. Hall previously worked for Durham School Services as national accounts and fleet services manager.
Steven W Schweinfurth has joined TODCO as director of purchasing and material control. He previously served as procurement manager for Parker Hannifin Corp in Green Camp OH.
The board of directors of Switzerland-based Sika AG has appointed William E Loven regional manager of North American operations and president and chief executive officer of Sika Corp USA, effective Jan 1, 2005. He will also serve as a group management member of Sika AG. Enrico Tissi, who held these positions the past eight years, plans to step down by the end of 2004. He will continue to serve Sika as vice-chairman of the board of directors of the United States subsidiary. Loven joined Sika Corp USA in 2000 as senior vice-president of the Industry Products Division.
Eaton Corp has named James W McGill vice-president — Eaton Business System. He replaces Thomas S Gross, who was named vice-president — power quality solutions operations in the company's electrical business. McGill, who will be based at company headquarters in Cleveland OH, most recently served as vice-president and general manager for Eaton's Industrial Controls Division in Milwaukee WI.
Kemlite Co Inc, a Crane Co company, has named Terry Westerman director of sales. Westerman has been at Kemlite four years as national sales manager.
