The Holland Group Inc has named Ken Griswold director — global marketing services and aftermarket, effective immediately. He has served Holland as product manager, SBU director, and director of business development. Dan Millar is the new director of United States regional sales for Holland. Since rejoining the firm in May 2002, he has been director of global marketing services and aftermarket.
J Richard Schien, Karmak Inc's president and chief executive officer, has become its chairman of the board. Bill Healy, executive vice-president of Karmak, is the new president and CEO.
Consolidated Metco Inc (ConMet) has appointed Larry Orsborn as Northeast regional manager. Most recently, he was sales manager of the Eastern Region for AIRGO Systems of Dayton OH.
Peter J Savoy has joined Waltco Truck Equipment Co as director of manufacturing and engineering — Liftgate Division. The 20-plus-year management veteran comes to Waltco from Hendrickson International. Keven L Crawford has joined Waltco as director of marketing and sales. With more than 25 years' experience in product distribution, Keven comes to the firm from Braun Liftgate Co.
Martin Duffy has been named director — western region for Thermo King Corp. He succeeds Mike Roberts, who has served as interim region director. Duffy's most recent position was vice-president — global transport solutions engineering for Thermo King's Transport business.
Aurora Trailer Leasing & Rental has named Robin Cass rental manager of its Atlanta GA leasing and sales facility. Cass previously worked for a competitor as branch manager in both Jacksonville FL and Knoxville TN. Aurora has named Ron Jones rental manager of its Nashville TN facility. With nearly 35 years in transportation equipment leasing, Jones has worked for companies such as Ryder and UPS in regional and national sales and/or operations management positions. Tony Difilippantonio has joined Aurora Parts & Accessories in the newly created position of vice-president of sales and marketing — aftermarket parts. He previously held management positions at Carrier Corp, Fruehauf Corp, and Pameco. Curt Lello has been appointed Aurora's purchasing manager — aftermarket parts and accessories. He served in senior management positions with FleetPride, TruckPro, and Phelps Truck. Scott Hite, who is Aurora's new director of finance and administration, previously was group supervisor of management reporting for Cinergy Corp and controller of Wabash National Parts. Dale Haseltine was named director of operations — leasing and rental for Aurora's semitrailer leasing unit. He has worked for Wabash National, Fruehauf Trailer Services, and Edison Brothers. John Brockmeier, who has been promoted to Aurora's corporate used-trailer manager, has worked for Wabash National, Fruehauf Trailer Services, XTRA, and AJF Leasing.
Bruce Carmichael has been appointed national sales manager for SnowEx Products, a division of TrynEx International, and will be based in Cleveland OH. He previously was SnowEx regional sales manager and also served as sales manager for SweepEx.
