Walter Frankiewicz has been appointed president of Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC, the joint venture of Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC and Dana Commercial Vehicle Products LLC. He replaces Kishor Pendse, who will retire from Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake by the end of 2009. Until then, Pendse will serve as general manager while he assists in transferring responsibilities to Frankiewicz. The transition will extend through the end of June, and then Pendse will assist Knorr-Bremse and Bendix in strategic projects for the rest of 2009. Frankiewicz comes to Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake from Alcoa Inc., where he served as president for Alcoa Electrical and Electronic Solutions.
Phillips Industries of Santa Fe Springs CA has promoted Randy Walker to national sales manager for the aftermarket. Walker joined Phillips as regional sales manager in 2003.
Eaton Corporation announced that Eric Zahrai has been named manager for Aftertreatment Marketing and Strategic Partners for its Truck Group. Zahrai, who joined Eaton in 1986, most recently was sales and marketing manager-Europe.
