Thermo King Corp has appointed Steven R Shawley president of Thermo King North America. He was most recently vice-president and controller for Ingersoll-Rand.
TODCO has promoted Bob Berry to plant manager for its Marion OH facility. He previously was manager of customer service, warranty, and quality.
Robert J Keegan, president and chief operating officer of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co, will assume additional duties as chief executive officer effective Jan 1, 2003. Samir G Gibara, chairman and chief executive officer, will remain as chairman of the board. Also announced was the formation of an executive committee of the board of directors, which Gibara will chair. Goodyear has appointed Dave Beasley director of commercial tire sales and Al Cohn manager — strategic initiatives/communications. Previously, Beasley was director of commercial marketing, and Cohn's most recent position was manager — training and technology.
Ramsey Winch has named Greg Jeter regional sales manager for its North Central Region. He previously was international business manager for Ditch Witch International in Perry OK. Ramsey also has appointed John W Arruda international sales representative. Most recently, he was marketing developer/account manager for Limco-Airepair Inc in Tulsa OK.
Detroit Diesel Corp (DDC) has appointed John J “Jim” Morrow president. Morrow previously was senior vice-president — aftermarket sales and Remanufacturing Corp and president — Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing Corp. The Remanufacturing Corp is a wholly owned subsidiary of DDC.
Sika Corp Industry Products Division has appointed Paul Gross to the Industry Group as a product engineer. He comes to Sika from National Starch and Chemical, where he held various sales and engineering positions over the past six years.
