Venturo has named Brett Collins president of Venco/Venturo and hired two new employees. Tony Albanese joins as the new Midwest Territory sales manager.

Venturo has named Brett Collins president of Venco/Venturo and hired two new employees. Tony Albanese joins as the new Midwest Territory sales manager. He brings more than 20 years of industrial manufacturing sales experience with light and heavy construction equipment, work trucks, and factory lift trucks. Melissa Reynolds has been hired as Venturo's marketing coordinator. She has worked in economic development, the non-profit sector, and as a freelance communications specialist. Collins brings extensive experience and expertise in manufacturing, marketing, and sales. He also is on the National Truck Equipment Association board of trustees as a manufacturer trustee.

Maxon Lift Corp has added two people to its sales team. Shauna Schneider is covering the Los Angeles CA market as district sales manager. She comes to Maxon with more than a decade of experience in trailer leasing and rentals and trailer parts sales. Mark Johnson is covering northern Texas as an area sales representative. Based in Dallas/Fort Worth, he comes to the company from Texas A&M University.

Frank Sonzala, executive vice-president, and Steve Robinson, director-OEM sales and dealer programs from Pressure Systems International, have been elected to board of director positions with the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) and National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA), respectively. Sonzala was elected to the IANA board of directors for 2012-2014. He previously served on the IANA board for eight years beginning in 2000. The NTDA elected Robinson to a three-year term on its board as one of three allied members.

Sika Corp's Industry and Automotive Divisions announce the appointment of Shaleen Freeman as customer service representative responsible for the Transportation, A&C, and FFI business unit. Freeman was formerly assistant promotions manager for the Metro Times newspaper. Matthew Blain joins Sika Automotive as key account manager-OES Sales Group. He held account management roles with Nitto-Denko and Grand Rapids Plastics, and worked 11 years with Dow Automotive in sales, engineering, and technical service positions.
