Meritor Inc has appointed John Nelligan general manager, OEM sales and national accounts, replacing Dennis Kline, who recently retired from the company

Meritor Inc has appointed John Nelligan general manager, OEM sales and national accounts, replacing Dennis Kline, who recently retired from the company after 36 years. Nelligan most recently served as general manager, North American field operations, and brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role. Meritor has appointed Matthew Stevenson general manager, North American field operations and marketing, effective immediately. Prior to joining Meritor in 2010, Stevenson spent nearly 10 years at Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) and held executive-level positions in marketing, sales, and product strategy. Meritor has appointed Krista Sohm vice-president, communications, effective immediately. Lin Cummins, formerly senior vice-president of communications at Meritor for nearly 13 years, has elected to retire from the firm at the end of 2011, at which time she will explore other communications endeavors. Sohm has been with Meritor since 2000, most recently serving as senior director of corporate communications.

Ivan Dodd, division manager for American Eagle Accessories Group, recently retired from his position. To succeed him, Jeff Newell has been appointed as the new sales manager for the American Eagle division, and Tim Davison will take over product management responsibilities. In addition, Kenny Dedor has been appointed as an inside sales representative. Newell will add to his current sales role, and Davison will be expanding his role as product manager of bodies and cranes for Stellar Industries. Dedor, a new hire for American Eagle, recently graduated from Buena Vista University.

Fontaine Fifth Wheel has promoted Robbie Laney to product manager. Laney, who has experience in product development, customer support, cost analysis, and engineering, joined the firm in 2010 as a product sales engineer.

Eaton Corporation has formed a new Global Aftermarket and Clutch Business Unit and named John Beering as its vice-president and general manager. He was previously vice-president and general manager of clutch and aftermarket for Eaton's truck business.

Sika Corporation, Industry Products Division has appointed Monica Gapczynski manager-customer service. She previously served the firm as customer service representative and in other Industry and Automotive groups. Deanna Brown has joined Sika as customer service representative-Aftermarket and Automotive. She most recently was with JP Morgan Chase as account executive and mortgage loan processor. Mike Gaffke has rejoined Sika as a territory manager, Aftermarket Business Unit, servicing Oregon, southern Idaho, and eastern Montana. He previously worked for Mygrant Glass, Safelite, PPG, and Solaglass.

Consolidated Metco (ConMet) has added Jason Altwies as its national account manager based in Kalamazoo MI. He comes to ConMet after spending 13 years with Dana Holding Corporation's Commercial Vehicle Group, where he held direct account management, business development, product marketing, and process improvement roles.

Air Power Systems Company (APSCO Inc) has hired Stephen Campbell as the sales manager for the company's South East territory. With more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, he will be responsible for APSCO's customer relationships in this region that includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
