Dana Corp's board of directors has named president and chief executive officer Michael J Burns to the additional post of chairman. He succeeds Glen H Hiner, who had served in the position since the September 2003 death of Joe Magliochetti, former Dana chairman and CEO. Hiner will continue as a director of Dana.

TODCO has promoted Jay Sloan to customer service representative, responsible for processing door and parts orders for the Marion and Upper Sandusky OH plants and assisting with obtaining ISO certification. He joined TODCO in 2002 as a door assembly technician.

John Prahl has joined the Mobility lift division of Maxon Lift Corp as its vice-president of sales. He has been the Northeast regional director with Maxon for the past six years. Howard Smith succeeds Prahl as Northeast regional director. Smith has been Midwest district sales manager for Maxon since 1997. Nobert Zoglman, who comes from Ricon Corp, will be Maxon Mobility district sales manager for the Southeast Region. Kevin McGuire joins Maxon Mobility from the investment industry and will be district sales representative for the Pacific Region.

Detroit Diesel Corp has named Jeff Wallis senior vice-president — parts, service, and customer support. He most recently was vice-president — parts sales and marketing. Glenn Lysinger, who most recently served as vice-president — customer assurance, will become chief quality officer.

Webb Wheel Products has promoted Duane Ricketts to vice-president of manufacturing for the Aftermarket Business Unit and David Link to vice-president of manufacturing for Webb's new high-volume OEM facility planned for completion early next year in Tell City IN.

Karmak recently named Duff Bell regional manager for its western territory including California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Hawaii. He rejoins Karmak after heading Western Interior Services the past two years. Before leaving Karmak in 2002, Bell had been the western area manager.
