Safety Pumping Systems (SPS) announced the commercial availability of the Chassis Grabber mounting system.

The patent-pending Chassis Grabber mounting system enables any type of equipment to be mounted to a truck chassis without drilling holes in the frame. It requires no tools other than a common pneumatic impact wrench.

Mounting equipment to truck frames has always required the drilling of multiple holes through hardened steel frames, weakening the frames and risking damage to wiring and air hoses, not to mention the possibility of injury and the risk of voiding the frame's warranty by drilling holes in the wrong place. The Chassis Grabber allows for any equipment to be installed in minutes versus hours.

Dave Palmer, president of Safety Pumping Systems, said, “All installations are straight and true, and any equipment can be adjusted, moved, or removed easily, leaving the truck frame intact with no extra holes.”

The Chassis Grabber system can be used to mount equipment ranging from fire extinguishers to the heaviest blower or tool box and reduces the level of skill required for a perfect installation every time. Equipment can now quickly and easily be installed on truck assembly lines, at mod-centers, truck dealerships, truck repair shops, and equipment resellers.
