Armor Holdings, Inc, a leading manufacturer and distributor of military vehicles, vehicle armor systems and life safety and survivability systems serving military, law enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced today the receipt of a $649 million order for production of additional Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) trucks from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). The award is made under the existing multi-year FMTV production contract, with work to be performed in 2007 and 2008 by the Aerospace & Defense Group at its facilities located in Sealy, Texas.
