The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) will hold its annual Economic Outlook Conference (EOC), set for Aug 13-14, 2002, at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee

The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) will hold its annual Economic Outlook Conference (EOC), set for Aug 13-14, 2002, at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee WI. Presentations will include forecasts for the United States and global economies, as well as analyses of domestic and international markets.

Speakers will include Larry Chimerine of Radnor International Consulting, who will provide a North American macroeconomic forecast. Eli Lustgarten from H C Wainwright & Co will provide an overview of many of the fluid power industry's markets. Sarah Johnson from DRI/McGraw Hill Inc will explore “The Global Economic Outlook: How Strong a Recovery?” Alan Beaulieu, from the Institute for Trend Research, will provide a fluid power market forecast.

During two breakout sessions — mobile and industrial markets — other experts will share insights into industries, including construction and agricultural machinery, mining, material handling, and machine tools.
