The 2007-2008 Economic Handbook of the Manufacturing Technology Industry is now available from AMT — The Association for Manufacturing Technology. This annual guide, compiled from domestic and foreign sources, provides domestic and international data on the manufacturing technology industry.

The handbook encompasses product and nation-specific manufacturing technology data, as well as information on capital equipment purchases, by several major consuming industries. Domestic data covers such areas as employment, machine tool shipments, machine tools in use, and the financial condition of the industry. The handbook also provides a full range of international data for 31 foreign nations, typically including production, trade by machine type, and trade by partner country.

It is now available to download from AMT's web site at www.amtonline.org/in both PDF and Excel formats. AMT members may access all handbook files free of charge; non-members can download the PDF for $295 or purchase a CD containing PDF files for $345 plus shipping and handling.
