American Made LLC is celebrating its 20th year in business during 2003.

The company was formed in 1983 by Michael C LaRocco, company president, to introduce plastic bedliner systems to the dump truck industry. LaRocco developed a polymer blend that created a durable plastic liner with superior stick-release capabilities for dump trucks and trailers. This resulted in the polymer bedliner, Re-Pro.

In 1990, American Made broadened its range of services to the transportation industry by entering the composite market. A division, US Liner Co, was established specifically to manufacture protective scuff liners, wall panels, and translucent roofs for dry vans and refrigerated trailers. US Liner developed Bulitex, a lightweight, ballistic-grade, multi-layered thermoplastic material that helps eliminate forklift and cargo damage.

American Made and US Liner distribute their products through a nationwide network of 300-plus dealers, many of whom also offer installation services.

To mark this anniversary, American Made is offering a 20% discount on Re-Pro bedliner kits sold November 1-30, 2003. To find a participating dealer, phone 800-356-0524.
