AdvanceOnline Inc has announced a partnership with the National Paint & Coatings Association (NPCA) to launch the NPCA Online Institute, located at http://npca.advanceonline.com, a suite of web-based training courses to meet the regulatory requirements of its members. This partnership adds another member to AdvanceOnline's Vital Training Alliance, a consortium of training developers, Internet technology experts, marketers, and industry partners.
NPCA, a national trade organization representing some 400 companies, will offer 20 courses online to complement its education and reference materials, workshops, and seminars. Association members include manufacturers and distributors of paints, coatings, caulks, sealants, adhesives and printing inks, as well as manufacturers of raw materials and equipment used in manufacturing paints and allied products.
The NPCA Online Institute has courses on regulatory training requirements, including general occupational health and safety training topics ranging from confined spaces to ergonomics. Also included is transportation training relating to hazardous materials, and environmental compliance training covering spill prevention and control.
