As a result of the slowdown in the economy, rising taxes, and the possibility of impending double-digit inflation, the governing committee of ACOFAS has decided to lower the cost of ACOFAS membership.

The dues structure for the 2009 year has been lowered from $300 to $200. ACOFAS says it believes very strongly in the education of technicians and the importance of having them properly trained.

Acofas also announced that its next ACOFAS Technician Training Clinic will be held in Milan, Illinois, at the Mutual Wheel facility on Oct. 6-7. ACOFAS members David Engstrom and Ron Stone of Mutual Wheel will be the hosts. The focus of this training clinic will be total chassis alignment with all related diagnostics.
