WABCO Releases OnGuardMax Emergency Braking System

WABCO Holdings Inc. today introduced OnGuardMax at the IAA 2008 trade show, calling it the industry's first system for autonomous emergency braking (AEB) in collision-imminent situations with moving or stopped vehicles.

WABCO also presented its new trailer telematics technology that increases operating efficiency for transport businesses, along with its new modular automated manual transmission (AMT) system that enables vehicle and transmission manufacturers to accelerate product application and time to market.
