Partnership to share data warehouse services

Custom Technology Solutions (CTS) has announced a partnership with Universal Brake Parts (UBP) to provide the brake parts manufacturer with a data warehouse application designed to manage inventory control issues.
Datacast, CTS's data warehouse, provides an Oracle-based decision support system for manufacturers, warehouse distributors, and service dealer groups, helping to integrate the entire automotive supply chain. It will provide the foundation of UBP's new supply chain management system. Decision-support and data-mining capabilities provided through Datacast's sales and profitability analysis will enable UBP to have more accurate and timelier views of its parts in the supply chain.
CTS supply chain management applications can be delivered from its remote hosting location or in combination with applications hosted at customer data centers. UBP's application will be hosted as an application service provider model at CTS's secure data center and will be available 24/7.
