Fontaine Forms New Aftermarket Parts Unit

Fontaine PartSource has been established as the new aftermarket parts unit of Fontaine Trailer Co. The business currently operating at Fontaine's Haleyville AL offices has moved into a new 15,000-square-foot facility in Jasper AL.
The unit will focus on serving Fontaine's Key Dealer and Key Fleet customers with an initial strategy to supply 100% original equipment parts, according to Glenn M Chambers, Fontaine president and chief executive officer.
“Our 80/20 principled business model led us to segment the parts business so that we can give our key customers the dedicated effort they deserve,” said Chambers. “To assure the success of this business and of our Dealer and Fleet customers we have added two industry veterans in leadership roles: Ed Wentz and David Lee.”
Wentz has joined Fontaine Trailer Co as president of Fontaine PartSource. He brings 34 years experience with Marmon Highway Technologies companies. Before joining Fontaine Trailer, he was president of Webb Wheel Products Inc — OEM Truck.
Lee is director of operations for Fontaine PartSource. Lee has 12-plus years experience in aftermarket parts at Heil Environmental Industries, serving there as customer service manager and in operations and purchasing.
