Tramec, MacLean Crewson agree to merger

Tramec Corporation of Iola KS and MacLean Crewson of Buffalo NY have signed a definitive agreement to merge their two businesses. The new company will be known as Tramec LLC and will be headquartered in Iola.
This firm will be a combination of MacLean Crewson, a manufacturer of automatic and manual brake adjusters for the heavy-duty tractor, trailer, and aftermarket, with Tramec Corp., a manufacturer of air and electrical components, assemblies and their related accessories for the heavy duty tractor, trailer and aftermarket. Transition to Tramec LLC will be transparent to all current and future business transactions.
MacLean Crewson is owned by the MacLean-Fogg Company.
