Sika Invests in 200,000-Square-Foot Warehouse

Sika Corporation has opened a new 200,000-square-foot warehousing facility at its Marion, Ohio, location.
Benefits of the new facility include a consolidated shipping point and expedited material flow for the multiple Sika Business Units and customers serviced through the Marion operation. The new facility is located adjacent to the Marion plant and adds ample space for future growth.
Consolidation of the current warehousing operations to the new building will occur in closely timed stages by Sika Business Unit, and all actions including merger of existing finished goods inventories should be completed by the end of April. The former warehousing space occupied in the plant will be converted to additional manufacturing capacity.
