Link ships its one-millionth Cabmate

Link Manufacturing Ltd. announces the shipment of the company's one-millionth Cabmate cab air suspension. The firm introduced this ride- and comfort-improving cab suspension to the cab-over-engine truck market in 1980, with Cabmates for conventional tractors being developed in 1987.
From humble beginnings in a garage, then an 8,000-square-foot facilty, an expansion of the first plant, addition of a second plant, and now the addition of plant three, Link now occupies a modern, state-of-the-art 150,000-sq.-ft. complex. Over the years, more than 150 models have been designed. Today major original equipment truck manufacturers such as International Truck and Engine Corp.; PACCAR Inc. ; Kalmar; AGCO; and American La France rely on Link.
