FORCE America acquires PreCise MRM from Preco

FORCE America Inc has acquired PreCise Mobile Resource Management (MRM) from Preco Electronics, based in Boise ID. PreCise MRM is a provider of fleet management and telematics technologies for mobile equipment markets. The acquisition expands FORCE America's ability to offer systems for a variety of MRM applications and builds upon the DATA Commander product line. Financial terms are not disclosed.
PreCise MRM provides products that track data ranging from activity and status of equipment accessories to speed and location of vehicles. These products combine rugged, US-made GPS hardware with software and services. This combination is suited for commercial equipment with more severe-duty needs than consumer-grade products.
Preco Electronics will continue to market and sell its PreView object detection products from its Boise location.
