FleetPride, Inc., the nation's largest independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, announced that it has acquired Truck & Trailer Supply, Inc, which has locations in Artesia and Roswell, New Mexico.

Truck & Trailer Supply was founded in 1980 by Gene and Kay Peterson and has grown into a successful business in the southeastern New Mexico market. FleetPride has extended employment to all of the company’s employees, including industry veteran Mark Peterson, who has been with the company since 1981. Peterson will continue as manager for the acquired New Mexico operations.

"Much of FleetPride's future growth will be fueled by expansion into markets where we currently do not have representation. By seeking out companies such as Truck & Trailer Supply that have a strong existing client base, we can rapidly expand our national footprint," said Mike Paxton, FleetPride Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning. "We are currently evaluating similar opportunities all across the U.S."
