ArvinMeritor announces new business win for ROR/ELSA195 disc brakes

ArvinMeritor, Inc. today announced that its Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) business group has secured new business to provide the new ROR/ELSA195 disc brake to Pacton NL, the largest trailer manufacturer in The Netherlands.
Production is scheduled to begin August 2004.
The axle has been specified by IRF/Welsi b.v. - one of The Netherlands' larger transport companies - for 125 new Pacton trailers. The last two orders IRF/Welsi placed with Pacton have been equipped with ROR/ELSA195 disc brake axles. The current order brings the presence of the ArvinMeritor product to almost 40 percent of the IRF/Welsi fleet.
"We are delighted that IRF/Welsi has once again chosen the ROR/ELSA195 disc brake axle for its transport trailers," according to a key spokesperson at Pacton. "Their continued confidence in this product is a testament to ArvinMeritor's ongoing drive to provide the highest quality components to our growing global customer base."
The company also currently delivers the ELSA and DUCO disc brakes to Volvo and Renault trucks.
