Tramec, Maclean Crewson Merge

Tramec Corporation of Iola, Kansas, and MacLean Crewson of Buffalo, New York, have signed a definitive agreement to merge

Tramec Corporation of Iola, Kansas, and MacLean Crewson of Buffalo, New York, have signed a definitive agreement to merge their two businesses. The new company will be known as Tramec LLC and will be headquartered in Iola, Kansas.

Tramec LLC will be a combination of MacLean Crewson, a manufacturer of automatic and manual brake adjusters for the heavy duty tractor, trailer, and aftermarket, and Tramec Corporation, a manufacturer of air and electrical components, assemblies and their related accessories for the heavy duty tractor, trailer and aftermarket. The merger of these two companies will provide customers with expanded product offerings. The transition to Tramec LLC will be transparent to all current and future business transactions.
