MEMA and its affiliate associations – the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) –recently released a new informational report outlining the important contributions of all US motor vehicle parts suppliers: “Moving America, Part by Part.”

The report includes the latest analysis and an update of the US motor vehicle parts supplier industry compiled for MEMA by the Center for Automotive Research (CAR).

“Moving America, Part by Part” was distributed to the attendees and members at the MEMA Legislative Summit in April in Washington, DC. The report is designed to provide the information to educate elected officials, industry leaders and regulatory and agency staff on the breadth of the US motor vehicle parts supplier industry and to raise their awareness of our significant contributions to transportation safety, the environment, employment and the US economy.

A printed version of the full CAR analysis is available upon request. A print-ready PDF of the “Moving America, Part by Part” also is available for members who would like to reprint it for distribution to their employees or to distribute to your local elected officials.
