The German regulatory agency has officially notified DISA/Wheelabrator Group that it has met all requirements for a legal merger.
After an internal competition within DISA and Wheelabrator, a new name was chosen for the parent organization: Norican Group. The name Norican is derived from Noricum, an ancient Celtic kingdom in the Austria/Bavaria area circa 15 BC-500 AD. The region was famous for its quality Norican steel, which was widely used within the Roman Empire.
