Wabash tabs Giromini CEO

Wabash National Corp., which makes commercial truck trailers, said its board named current President and Chief Operating Officer Richard J. Giromini to serve as chief executive, effective Jan. 1.
Giromini will succeed 55-year-old Bill Greubel, who will remain as executive director and chairman.
The company did not specify who would be assuming the post of COO and could not be immediately reached for comment.
Giromini, 53, joined Wabash in 2002 as senior vice president and chief operating officer. He was named president, COO and a director in 2005.
